See the GNU Lesser General Public License for more details. Abstract -------- An OpenOffice.org extension that allow user to separe text or data in more columns within OOo Calc Documents. Very similar to corresponding feature of MS-Excel or 'text to table' in OOo Writer. * See the file INSTALL for installation instructions. Features -------- Converts text to columns in Calc documents. ( by separators or by fixed-width fields ) Use --- Select the cell range containing the text to separe and just run TextToColumns pressing the button in the small toolbar "Text to columns" Notice that the selected range must have a single column only. In the dialog that will displayed, you can make yours settings and see the result in preview. When ready, press the Ok button (or Cancel for exit without modify). To open the "About" dialog: Menu "?" (help)-> "About Text to columns" Requirements ------------ In order to use TextToColumns, you must have OpenOffice.org 2.0 or above installed.
